What's the Choreo Team?

The CLE WCS Choreography Team is an exciting new opportunity for Cleveland/Akron area dancers to learn West Coast Swing routines at an accelerated pace. It's a performance-based, non-competitive team and is meant to be a supplemental learning environment to regular group classes. It can also be a great opportunity as a stand-alone activity. The team is open to new and experienced dancers of any style.

Season 2 Details:

Season 2 will take the spot of regular Monday night group classes at Viva Dance Studio during July and August 2025. No audition required, but familiarity with basic patterns is recommended (eg. left side pass, sugar push, whip, etc.). Students may sign up as an individual or as a couple at the link below.

Program dates and times: 7:30-8:30PM on Mondays, July 7th through August 18th

Where: Viva Dance Studio, 1541 E 38th St, Cleveland, OH 44114

Cost: The program cost is $225 per person to be paid in one or two installments.

Includes: Seven (7) intensive dance classes taught by WSDC All-Star Evan Schreiber with video recaps and personalized instruction. Also includes team apparel and performance opportunities at the end of the program.

Expectations: By joining the team, dancers are committing to attending classes, learning the full routine, and participating in optional performances at the end of the program. Dancers are responsible for learning any choreo for classes they miss by the next class. If dancers know in advance of multiple schedule conflicts, please reach out to Evan to discuss the best option for being on the team.
